Coming Autumn 2026
Become a Clinical Supervisor
CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision. Expand your career beyond client work with professional supervision credentials.
This is a provisional overview. Final course details will be confirmed by summer 2026. We are seeking CPCAB approval to deliver the established Level 6 qualification.
Ready to Supervise But Not Qualified?
You're an experienced counsellor. You're thinking about becoming a supervisor. But without formal supervision training, you can't take on the work or you don't feel qualified enough to do it well.
You Feel Unqualified
Maybe you're already supervising informally, but you lack confidence. What if you miss something crucial? What if you don't know how to handle complex supervisee issues? Without formal training, you're winging it.
You're Turning Away Work
Colleagues, agencies, and trainee counsellors are asking you to supervise. But without a supervision qualification, you have to say no. You're losing opportunities to expand your practice and increase your income.
Your Career Has Hit a Ceiling
You've been counselling for years. You're experienced, skilled, and ready for the next step. But progression beyond client work requires supervision credentials. Without them, you're stuck.
The Solution: Formal Supervision Training
This CPCAB Level 6 Certificate gives you the credentials, confidence, and competence to supervise counsellors professionally. You'll learn how to hold space for supervisees, manage ethical dilemmas, work with diversity, and develop your own supervision approach.
After completing, you'll be eligible for the BACP or NCPS supervisor register, qualified to supervise in agencies or private practice, and able to charge for supervision as a legitimate professional service.
This isn't just a qualification. It's career progression, income diversification, and the opportunity to contribute to the profession by developing the next generation of counsellors.
